A juvenile correctional institution houses minors that have been convicted of crimes and ordered removed from society, as well as those who are suspected of criminal behavior and must be detained while their legal proceedings are pending.
Our organisation understands what these children and teenagers go through being isolated from their parents, family, and loved ones especially during the Christmas season as well as the impact on their mental health. Hence, we decided to spend some time with them and provide some food items. We encouraged them to be committed to the rehabilitation they are undergoing and hope for the best outcome in their legal proceedings.
